WHO WE ARE
Apples and Honey is a Denver-based violin-cello duo, which has been performing since 1989. The duo has specializes in classical and wedding music, having performed in locations such as the Governor's Mansion, Denver International Airport, and weddings throughout Colorado. Upon request, the duo is able to call in additional performers to form a trio or quartet.

CELLO- BIRDIE BECKER
Becker's adult life has been spent as a rabbi/cantor, teacher, social worker and performer. With master degrees in education, social work, rabbinic studies, a doctorate in education and rabbinic ordination, she has satisfied her lifelong love for music through dance and theater as well as writing and performing liturgical music.

VIOLIN- LISA APPLETON
Lisa has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education. She has been performing since 1990. Lisa was a member of the Arapahoe Philharmonic Orchestra from 1993 through 2009. As a member of the Sonatina Chamber Orchestra, she performed for the Papal Administration on December 25th, 1999 in Rome, Italy. Lisa has been a member of the Frontera String Quartet since 1993 and is the string specialist of St. Mary's Academy, and the co-founder of the Littleton Youth Orchestra.
